Holly Hills Real Estate Denver Colorado Transformed - Holly Hills is a residential community located off of Interstate 25 and Hampden Avenue and stretches along Interstate 25 to East Yale Avenue. Overlooking the neighborhood for nearly 36 years has been the Marriott Hotel that sits on a twelve acre site. The Marriott was built between 1973- 1974 and featured over 600 rooms. The hotel, at the time, was one of the largest in Denver and has given way to newer hotels in the Denver Tech Center and the Meridian Business Complex.
The Marriott South East is being demolished by Alpine Demolition and is scheduled to take from 5-6 months and demolition was started in February 2010. According to the web site, Highpointe at Hampden plans to develop the site with multi-family, senior housing, commercial, retail and a hotel. No additional information has been released.
