Stonegate Village in Parker Colorado Invest $3.8 Million in Capital Improvements

Stonegate Village in Parker Colorado has recently started a 3.8 million capital improvement campaign that will upgrade its existing pools, add a third pool to include water slides and water features and build a new community center. Completion is scheduled for Spring 2010.
The creme de la creme of Parker Colorado, the Stonegate Vilage community center will become the corner stone of Stonegate Village featuring a 3,000 square foot building to include a 1,000 square foot meeting room. Additionally, the Stonegate community center will feature men's, women's and family locker rooms, a snack bar and lobby. The lobby will allow residents to walk out directly onto the pool deck, into the locker rooms or into the community room.
Over the years, the Stonegate Village pool deck in Parker Colorado has heaved due to soil contraction and individual slabs have had to be replaced. As part of he upgrade, the entire pool deck will be replaced, new soil will be brought in and exterior showers will be added. The current community center will remain as an alternative meeting room and will receive a face lift with the other existing pool buildings.
Funding for the Stonegate Village Community Center in Parker Colorado was from refinancing the bonds a couple years ago. Originally, monies were taken out to upgrade the exterior fence around Stonegate, but after much debate, it was determined that the fences would be better stained than replaced. The better return on investment was with the pool upgrade due to community expansion and maintenance issues with the current pool.
